I met Miss Alene about 6 yrs. ago when I signed her up in the Experience Works Program of which I was a part of. She was placed at the Salvation Army where she was a cook, and she really seemed to really enjoy it. She was a very sweet and kind lady. So sorry to hear of her passing.

So sorry to learn of Alene's passing. I will miss our long conversations via telephone. You had a way with words, sayings of days gone by. I am truly going to miss you. But you have made it Home; rest in peace Alene.
