Charles Edward "Wolfman" Bass, age 62, of Madisonville, entered eternal rest at 9:55 p.m. Monday June 4, 2018 at Brighton Cornerstone Nursing Home in Madisonville. Born February 21, 1956 in Louisville, he was the son of the late Juanita Newby. He was a member of Flower Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville. He was a railroad worker. He loved riding his bicycle, loved fishing, and loved washing cars. He also was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Henry Palmer; and by one sister , Ruby Mackey. He leaves behind to cherish loving memories one brother, George (Jean) Bass of Madisonville; three nephews, James Civils Jr. and Randall Palmer both of Madisonville, and Ontario Palmer of Owensboro; one niece, Barbara Jean Bell of Madisonville; one aunt, Norma Jean Fletcher of Franklin,Ky.; and a host of cousins and friends. His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at Flower Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. M.L. Quarles will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 9, 2018 at the church.
