Richard Franklin Frazier, age 60, of Providence, entered eternal rest at 1:30 a.m. Thursday January 4, 2018 at Hillside Center in Madisonville.  Born August 7, 1957 in Providence, he was the son of the late Ray and Della Hutcherson Frazier.  He was a member of Marable Temple Church of God in Christ in Providence.  He worked in construction and attended Providence High School where he ran track and field.  He also was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Frazier Jr. and Vincent Crook; two brothers, Vernon Frazier and Ricky Frazier; and one sister, Regina Simpson.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories, sons Corey Hill of Paducah, Leon Davis of Providence, Johnathan Briama of Paducah, and Tarence Dieray Sanders; two daughters, Amaja Slaton of Nashville and Darnetta Foster of Princeton; three brothers, Wesley (Sherri) Starks Jr. of Providence, Douglas (Gwen) Frazier of Providence, and Ray (Christia) Frazier of Providence; two sisters, Marilyn (Evangelist Ira) Hathaway of Providence and Christina Frazier of Providence; two uncles and two aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  His life will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Marable Temple Church of God in Christ.  The Evangelist Ira Hathaway will officiate.  Burial will be in Williams Lawn Cemetery in Providence.  Visitation and wake services will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the church where a Celebration of Life DVD will be shown in his memory.  Elliott Mortuary in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
