Veronica Louise Bowles, age 51, of Louisville, formerly of Madisonville entered into her eternal rest at 4:09 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital.  Born August 12, 1967, in Madisonville, she was the daughter of the late Harry Gene Bowles Sr. and Barbara Jean Bowles.  She attended Branch Street Church of God in Christ in Madisonville, attended Madisonville North Hopkins High School, and was employed at Hotel Louisville.  She also was preceded in death by one sister, Lassie Jane Bowles II.  She leaves behind to cherish loving memories, one son, Calieb Jamal Bowles (CJ) of Madisonville; one daughter, Lassie Jane Bowles III of Madisonville; eight brothers, Norman Lee (Tammi) Terry of Springville, Alabama, Harry Gene (Jametta) Bowles Jr. of Henderson, Philemon Marcus Bowles of Rome, Georgia, Peter Simpson Bowles of Dawson Springs, James Howard Bowles of Madisonville, John Nathan (Tonya) Bowles of San Antonio, Texas, Jerome Samuel Bowles of Covington, and Virgle Woodson Bowles of Madisonville, aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.  Her life will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Temple of Praise,  299 Aubrey Prow Lane in Madisonville.  The Elder James H. Bowles will officiate. Burial will be in Westside Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation and wake services will be after 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.  Elliott Mortuary in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements and will be assisted by Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville.  Share condolences at www.elliottmortuarycares.com.
