Anthony Edonesit Antia

Anthony Edonesit Antia, age 27, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday June 8, 2022 at his home. 

Born November 20, 1994 a native of Nacogdoches, Texas, he was the the son of Archibong Antia and Deria Johnson-Williams. 

He was a faithful member of Word of Faith Christian Center in Madisonville under the pastorage of Pastor Marvin Hightower.  He was employed with Gibbs Die Casting Manufacturing Company in Henderson where he worked as a production worker.  He also worked jobs in retail and industrial travel.  He was a graduate of Henderson County High School and attended Henderson Community College pursuing a business associate degree.  He enjoyed traveling with his friends to sporting events and musical concerts, and also enjoyed cooking. 

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memories his parents Archibong (Audrey) Ekpanya Antia and Deria (Leon) Williams all of Henderson; a brother Archibong Antia III of Henderson; a step-brother Brandon Hightower; sisters Ashley (Keith) Ahern of Detroit, Michigan and Ariel Antia of Louisville, Kentucky; step-sisters Whitney Williams, Devon Baxter and Nichole Baxter; uncles Idonesit Antia Ekapanya of Uyo, Nigeria, Marcus (Sonya) Johnson and Corrie (Tikia) Caldwell both of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Alfred (Roberta) Caldwell of Taylor, Texas; aunts Marcella Caldwell of Houston, Texas, Lady Helen (Sir Polycarp) Ndouteng, Ikwo (Nkereuwen) Okon all of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, Mrs. Grace Mafuru of Uyo, Nigeria, and Lady Margaret Akpaidem of London, UK.; special friends MaKayla Carter, Brooklyn Williams, and Kailyn Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 15 at Greater Norris Chapel Missionary Baptist Church located at 937 Washington Street in Henderson.  The Reverend Charles E. Johnson will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m until service time Wednesday at the church.
