Carol Jean Brown, age 67, of Madisonville, entered into her eternal rest at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Baptist Health Madisonville. Born February 11, 1954 in Decatur,Illinois she was the daughter of the late Al Atchason and Leona Wilmore Atchason. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Fairfield,Illinois and was a homemaker. She had worked in sales with Coca-Cola Bottling Company. She loved cooking and her animals. She also was preceded in death by a brother Terry Atchason. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories two sons Terry Gaines of Madisonville and Shawn (Linda) Atchason of Dallas,Texas; two sisters Diane (Gary) Warnick and Debbie (Jim) Smith both of Mount Vernon,Illinois; 6 nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
