Gloria "Buttons" Dixon Taylor, age 45, of Atlanta and formerly of Evansville, entered eternal rest on August 28, 2018 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta.  Born February 28, 1973 she was the daughter of Latasha Sue Dixon and was a faithful member Sufficient Grace Tabernacle Church in Atlanta.  Gloria was a registered nurse for Grady Hospital and worked in Case Management for United Health Care.  She recently passed the Georgia State Board of Realtors and obtained her realtors license.  Gloria was very loving, kind God-fearing woman who was deeply loved by many.  She is preceded in death by her mother Latasha Sue Dixon and her cousin James Demarcos Dixon.  She leaves behind to cherish loving memories her brother, Mark Dixon of Evansville; one niece, Olivia Dixon and one nephew, Michael Dixon both of Evansville; one aunt, Doretha Turner of Henderson; uncles Frank Dixon of Henderson and James Dixon of Oklahoma; her partner of 10 years, Shakur Manning and his son, Jayce; her best friend of 30 years, Monica Dulin; and a host of loving cousins and friends; and her dog, Jake.  Her life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 8, 2018 at Haven Pentecostal Church 425 Kresge Drive in Henderson where Phillip Wagoner is the pastor.  The Reverend Johnathan Powell will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.  Visitation and wake services will be from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at the church. Elliott Mortuary in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements.
