Gwendolien Elaine (Sweatt) Reaves

Gwendolien Elaine Sweatt Reaves, age 51, of Radcliff,Ky., formerly of Henderson, entered into her eternal rest at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.  Born November 29, 1969 in Henderson to the late Henry Lee Sweatt Sr. and Francis Christine Tramill Sweatt, she was a member of Walnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson.  She was employed with Summit Polymers Plastic Fabrication Company in Elizabethtown where she received employee of the month.  She was a graduate of Henderson County High School.  Her hobbies included cooking, traveling, dancing, and styling hair.  She also was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Sweatt.  She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories her devoted husband of 11 years James Reaves of Radcliff; three sons Frederick Sweatt and Timothy Sweatt both of Radcliff, and Stephen Buckler of Lebanon,Ky.; a daughter Freda Sweatt of Charleston,South Carolina; a brother Henry Sweatt Jr. of Henderson; two sisters Pamela (Calvin) Tramill King  and Louquana (Allen) Littlepage "Neecee" all of Henderson; four grandchildren Rashad Sweatt, Quincy Sweatt, Nia Sweatt, and Dallas Sweatt; several aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Her life will be celebrated at 12 Noon Wednesday January 13 at Elliott Mortuary Chapel in Madisonville.  Pastor John Trice Taylor III (Walnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church) will officiate assisted by Rev. Stacey Gilbert.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.  Visitation and wake services will be a walk-through beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral, located at 215 E.
