J’Quitta Lashon Thompson

Ms. J’Quitta Thompson, 38 of Bowling Green, KY completed her life’s journey on August 22, 2022.  

J’Quitta was a loving mother of three, who loved the Lord with her whole heart.  J’Quitta’s characteristics were one of a prophetess, she had an abundance of the special gift of testimony.  J’Quitta enjoyed singing, cooking, spending time with family, loved elephants, walking in the park, was strong willed and very inspirational to family and others.  In her younger years she participated on the track team at Riverside Elementary.  You will always be on our minds, and forever in our hearts.

J’Quitta was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. William and Mrs. Ella Ren Thompson and Emma Jones (Granny).  

She is survived by two daughters, Jadia Love Anthony, Laila Star Anthony; one son, Dorrian McKinley Anthony; mother, Thera Jones of Louisville, KY; father, John (Jacqueline) Jones II of Louisville, Ky; Four brothers, Mardrese Thompson of Louisville, KY, John Thompson III of Clarksville, IN, Kevin Mansfield of Louisville, KY, Ja’Marion Jones of Louisville, KY;one sister Ja’Kearah Jones of Louisville, KY; two nieces Brooklyn Jade Thompson, Karisma Thompson; one nephew, Jacob Michael Lewis, and a host of uncles, aunts, family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at House of Refuge 1858 E. 8th Street Jeffersonville, IN.  Apostle Chad Collins will officiate. 

Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday September 12, 2022 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at House of Refuge.
