Lawrence Carroll Wagoner, 58, of Madisonville, passed away peacefully at 6:20 a.m. on Friday January 12, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville.
A native of Madisonville, he was born on May 12, 1965 to the late Hulin Wagoner Sr. and Imagene Jones Wagoner.
In his earlier years he attended Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville. Lawrence loved photography, fishing, listening to youtube music, and singing. He loved his pigeons and bonding with his pet dog Lacey. Most of all he loved being around his family, who will dearly miss him.
In addition to his parents Lawrence also was preceded in death by his daughter Rosemary Baker and two brothers Hulin Wagoner Jr. and Troy Wagoner.
Lawrence leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 34 years Daphne Melton Wagoner of Madisonville; one son Garrick Scott Wagoner of Madisonville; one brother Roger (Tasha) Wagoner of Drakesboro,Ky.; one sister Brenda Ferguson of Madisonville; one niece Kasie Thomas; four nephews John Matthew-Grace, Eric Grace, Adam Wagoner, and Aaron Wagoner; and a host of cousins and friends.
Lawrence's life will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Friday January 19 at Elliott-Bowles Mortuary in Madisonville.
Minister Aaron Wagoner will officiate.
Burial will be in New Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, Ky.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
