Leslie Ann Davis Johnson, 56, of Madisonville, passed away peacefully at 7:25 p.m. Tuesday December 30, 2025 at her home.
A native of Madisonville, she was born to Gladys Katherine Hall Davis and the late Maurice Davis on February 12, 1969.
In her earlier years, Leslie had attended Oak Grove Missionary Baptist in Madisonville.
She was a graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School where she ran track and field, was on the Honors Society, and a member of the All-American Girls.
She furthered her education and obtained an online Bachelor's Degree in law from Phoenix University and an online Master's Degree in law from Phoenix University.
She was a self-employed business owner of "Where They Do That At Hotwear".
She was very creative and enjoyed crafts, sewing and making blankets, cooking, baking, doing nails and makeup.
She will be dearly missed by her mother, husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, aunts and uncles, and extended family members.
In addition to her father, she also was preceded in death by a son; one brother, Kelsey Hall; and one sister, Adrian Hall.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Lemarrell Johnson Sr. of Madisonville; one son, Lemarrell Johnson Jr. of Madisonville; three daughters, Krystal Johnson of Madisonville, Shawn-Nyia (Orlando) Carson of Madisonville, and Mauricia (Jonas) Crowley of Madisonville; three brothers, Clifton (Ashley) Davis of Madisonville, Kenneth Davis of Birmingham, Alabama, and Shawn (Demita) Hall of Madisonville; two sisters, Sherry Sykes of Panama City, Florida and Krystal Davis of Madisonville; four grandchildren; three aunts; one uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Private Memorial Services will be held by the family at a later date at Eastside Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Elliott-Bowles Mortuary in Madisonville is handling her care of arrangements and professional services.
