What can I say about this beautiful lady she was there for me when I needed some help back in the day she was always there for everyone she has the most kind and most sweetest heart she used to tell me I need to stop being so mean to people and let them in my heart because my heart will heal up and I will be OK God bless you rest in peace my angel I’m gonna miss you my friend

I can not begin to say how impressed our family was with the professionalism and caring that Elliott Mortuary showed my family during the passing of our father, the late Bishop Startus Hutcherson. He went to rest on December 1, 2021. They made this experience less stressful and went out of their way to make sure we where satisfied. I cannot begin to tell you how much that meant to my whole entire family. We appreciate your whole entire staff for making our father’s going how celebration beautiful. Praying that God continue to bless your business. This community needs you.

My mother passed away 1 year ago on October 8, 2020. Elliot Mortuary managed this difficult time efficiently and with sensitivity and compassion. I received a very thoughtful card from Elliott Mortuary this week which has meant so much to me, 1 year later. Thank you,

I want to thank you again for your professionalism, patience, and flexibility while working with me and my family to plan services for my father, Harold. I appreciate the 'can do' spirit of Elliott Mortuary. I was adamant about services being held completely at the gravesite despite the temperature, and you gently guided me in the right direction of holding a small, private service inside. THANK YOU! It was the best decision considering the weather conditions.

Your vision for the program was beautiful! The Navy theme was perfect because my father's time in the Navy was special to him, and it was also a pivotal point in his life. The program truly reflected my father's life and spirit, and I sincerely APPRECIATE you creating a memorable program.

Lastly, I remember sharing with you that I always greeted my father with 'you look like a million bucks,' which he loved hearing. He also LOVED looking dapper and took great pride in his appearance. Not only did my father look handsome and at peace, he also looked like a million bucks. THANK YOU!

My Mother (Katherine Johnson) passed away Oct.4,2019. During the time of bereavement, the staff of Elliott Mortuary was so compassionate, genuine, caring, and professional! They made you feel like we were part of their biological family, not a customer! When you are already sad and grieving, you want to hear uplifting and positive comments. The staff at Elliott did just that! They helped me and my family to find solace and peace in the passing of our Mother! On Feb. 21, 2020, our brother(Bobby Lane Johnson Sr), passed away. It had only been 5 months since our Mother passed! The staff at Elliott once again handled all our arrangements in such a considerate and family oriented way! They showed how much they cared. Elliott’s has always implemented nothing but good service and genuine love and care for our family. That is what you want when you are grieving over your loved ones. People will forget what you did, people will forget what you said, but people will NEVER forget how you made them feel!
